Wall Painting Designs For Interior and Accent Walls

Home is the place which gives you feeling of warmth and comfort after a long tiring day. The wall paint colors can make your home look elegant or funky as per your desire. It has been proved that colors of the walls affect us psychologically. Some colors gives warmth will others provide cooling effect. Since the wall color room can be changed easily so it is considered as the best way of experimenting with different interior ideas. There are various types of wall paint design available in the market which you can incorporate in your home to give it a complete makeover. Wall stenciling is one of an interesting wall painting technique which uses cutout or templates to create a design. Later on these stencils are removed and the pattern remains there. You can create any type of pattern through this technique like stars, animals, flowers and many others. This process if very simple and will make your walls look entirely different.

Another type of wall painting design is faux painting which actually means false painting. In this type of design you can create an illusion of materials like marble, granite, wood and others using the paint. Rubber stamping is another cool design which is fast, easy and above all looks impressive. Besides these you can also go for accent walls, stripes, trim, graphics and many others. No matter whatever design you may choose but always go for the right type of color which suites the pattern and also goes well with the overall looks of the room. Avoid very bright colors until and unless you want to make the walls as the focal point of your rooms. It is always better to go for the neutral shades of your choice.

This is where I create and receive private clients at the same time. I want a color that would stimulate excitement, creativity but not make me tired at the end of the day.

I already picked out the color i want for my room and that is black and silver. Problem is i live in the attic so my walls are really slanted with the roof and straight down half way through the slant. I need some help and ideas of design please. I also have two flat walls at each end. And if this helps it is a long room

i want me and my friends to decorate one wall in my room. so i want it to have pictures of us and designs. should the designs be like peace signs and smiley faces-things like that OR should it be random things…or any other suggestions?

I have a question regarding the Copyright of artworks and photographs.

I have all white walls. The shower curtain is white with teal and a neon green color without the neon. It’s not seafoam or mint, or olive or hunter…. it’s the popular summery green color that’s often matched with teal. Anyhow, the curtain is a modern look with a white background and green and teal circles and squares an inch or two in size. The rugs match the green and teal. I have bought craft paint to do some design on one wall in the green and teal colors. I have pondered stripes or big squares/circles or leaving all the walls white and stamping shapes as a border. I am undecided. Any fresh ideas for me anyone?
Just to clear things up….. I am leaving all the walls white except one and I intend to use the craft paints on one wall. I have narrowed it down this far. I would like to know what I should do with these colored paints….thanks!!

i cannot remember what a stamp that you dip in paint and press down to make a design would be called i’ve googled it and have had no luck…the only thing i can find it a stencil which isn’t what i want could anyone help me with the correct name or where to buy these at??

I recently purchased a lavender bed set with dark plum designs. Which colors would look best on the walls? I would like to paint everything one color but I would also like to have an accent wall and I’m not sure which colors would match well, without having too much purple.
